Trainings and Workshops
Off the Record offers training to young people and to staff working with young people. Trainings and workshops are tailored to your needs and are offered by an experienced teacher and counsellor.
All Trainings can be delivered at Off The Record or at a location of your choice. For more information, please call 0117 922 6747.
Examples of Trainings offered to organisations
- Working with young people;
- Coping with difficult emotions.
Peer Listening/Mentoring/Educating Training
- This training is for young people interested in setting up a peer listening scheme in their school or supporting organisation. It can be adapted to the role the young people choose: listening, befriending, mentoring, and educating.
- Accreditation through Vinvolved, a national volunteering Programme.
Emotional Health workshops
- Off the Record can provide Emotional Health Workshops on a variety of subjects relevant or affecting young people, either as part of a programme or as a one-off.
- Topics explored so far have ranged from Grief and Loss, Assertiveness, Sexual Health and Relationships, Drugs Awareness, Identity.
